Assisted Living Home- Manager

Shady Oaks Retreat is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community and is the area’s newest senior housing development, comprised of an assisted living facility with provisions for Adult Daycare. We are located in a beautiful, serene, and state-of-the-art facility on Conroe TX. We are seeking Full Time Assisted Living Manager to join our team! The Assisted Living Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Assisted Living Facility. Responsible for daily operations of the assisted living program in accordance with current applicable Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations as directed by the policies and procedures. Ensures the highest level of clinical delivery to the assisted living residents while concurrently being fiscally responsible. Ensures competence of the clinical staff, appropriate staffing for patient care, and facilitates clinical program development. Responsible for planning the appropriate utilization of resources, maintaining or improving the work environment, and monitoring and improving the quality and appropriateness of care. Promotes the assisted living facility through active involvement and participation in external and internal activities concerning health care services. Qualifications • Minimum three (3) years of management experience in an Assisted Living Facility required. • Knowledge of state regulations required. • Previous work experience of state and federal assisted living quality initiatives required. Additional Qualifications/Skills • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment preferred. • Current Certified Assisted Living Administrator (CALA) preferred. • Current Certified Assisted Living Nurse (C-AL) preferred. • Ability to project a professional image. • Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. • Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills. • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. • Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. • Freedom from illegal use of and effects of the use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
